What Is Highest Credit Score Possible
Questions about credit scores?
I applied for an apartment recently. They did a credit check The future landlord said the credit was great. They said my score was 752. Now, a month earlier when I requested a copy of my credit report online, the site (Experian I think?) stated 690 as my score. Why is there this variation?
Also, what is the highest credit score possible and how do you get there? Thanks.
While it’s true that each bureau will have slight variations for FICO scores, if you bought something from Experian, you probably didn’t get a FICO score. You got their own approximation of a FICO score and it’s really pretty useless. The one your landlord pulled – the 752 – is most likely the real FICO score so that’ the real thing (and yours is very high!)
